Panoramic View of Our Pond, September 2003
This is a wide angle view of the pond behind our house around 7:00 PM on a mid September evening. It is a composite of 19 photos stitched together with software. You will have to scroll your browser to the right to see the entire picture.
These photos were taken with a Cannon PowerShot S40 digital camera while sitting in a rowboat in the centre of the pond. About 25% of a full 360 degree view is omitted because the glare of the sun would not allow photos to be taken due west. At midday, when the sun is overhead, a full 360 degree image should be possible.
